As an LTC Registered Nurse on this assignment, you’ll play a
central role in patient care coordination and clinical excellence.
Your key responsibilities include comprehensive assessments,
development and implementation of individualized care plans,
administration of medications and treatments, wound and skin care,
pain and symptom management, fall prevention, infection control,
and ongoing monitoring of safety and quality indicators. You’ll
collaborate daily with physicians, therapists, social workers,
dietitians, and activity staff to optimize functional outcomes,
promote independence, and preserve residents’ dignity.
Documentation in the electronic health record will be precise,
timely, and compliant with all regulatory standards, ensuring clear
communication across the care team and with families. You’ll
educate residents and families about illness, medications, safety
practices, nutrition, and advance directives, while advocating for
residents’ goals and preferences. This assignment emphasizes growth
