Job Description Job Description Job Title: Powder Coat Painter Job Description As a Powder Coat Painter, you will be responsible for maintaining spray guns and equipment, ensuring the cleanliness of the booth between color changes to prevent cross-contamination, and spraying wash parts prior to applying powder. You will visually inspect all products entering the paint system to ensure they are properly prepped and spray powder paint to industry standards and customer specifications. Applying consistent mil thicknesses on varying products and maintaining a daily schedule to provide a smooth flow into the packaging department are key aspects of this role. Additionally, monitoring bake oven operation and time is crucial. Responsibilities Maintain spray guns and equipment. Clean booth between color changes to prevent cross-contamination. Spray wash parts prior to applying powder. Visually inspect all products entering the paint system. Spray powder paint to industry standards and customer specifications. Apply consistent mil thicknesses on varying products. Maintain daily schedule to provide smooth flow into packaging department. Monitor bake oven operation and time. Essential Skills Painting Powder coat Industrial Spray gun Paint prep 1 year of powder coat paint experience Racking Spray paint Additional Skills & Qualifications 1 year of wet spray painting experience Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $50000.00/yr. All OT is voluntary Direct Hire Family owned and the owner is very approachable and on the shop floor at times 3-5% annual raises Very laid back and relaxed work environment Clean and organized facility and shop 10% 2nd shift premium Tuition reimbursement Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Sun Prairie,WI.
