Primary Responsibilities: - Analyzes and investigates actuarial
questions/problems - Provides explanations and interpretations of
current and developing trends in healthcare utilization and costs -
Supports efforts to identify affordability opportunities to lower
the cost of healthcare for the members we serve - Communicates
results and technical concepts to broad audiences - Works with
detailed claim and membership data from various sources/data
warehouses (e.g. STRATUS) - Creates and maintains actuarial
models/reports You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your

clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as
provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science,
Math, Economics or related field - 4 years of actuarial work
experience - Healthcare related experience Preferred
Qualifications: - Four or more exams and on track for Associate of
the Society of Actuaries or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries
designation - Demonstrated advanced proficiency with Excel -
Demonstrated basic level of proficiency with coding such as
SAS/SQL/R/Python - Proven excellent oral and written communication
skills *All employees working remotely will be required to adhere

this role is $89,800 to $176,700 annually based on full-time
employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not
limited to local labor markets, education, work experience,
certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum
