The warehouse associate is responsible for accurately processing orders for pickup and delivering in a timely manner while maintaining a neat and organized warehouse. This role involves a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse, showroom, and property along with contributing to a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities:
--- Follow tasks and instructions provided by the manager.
--- Prepare work orders and pickups for the day, including preparing the exact yardage of material.
--- Deliver orders to customers or other company warehouses with safety and care in mind.
--- Appropriately display and maintain all materials.
--- Maintain stock samples.
--- Appropriately dispose of materials.
--- General maintenance of building and property, including but not limited to: lawn maintenance, snow removal, and basic landscaping.
--- General custodial responsibilities.

Qualifications:
--- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks independently.
--- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
--- Basic math skills.
--- Good computer skills
--- Good verbal and written communication skills.
--- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
--- Work will be performed inside and outside of the warehouse and store.
--- Work will be performed off-site at customer location(s).

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
--- Ergonomic factors: lifting and lowering heavy items, bending, reaching overhead, repetitive motions, pushing, and pulling heavy loads.
--- Climbing Ladders
--- Must be able to lift 75 pounds without restrictions.

TRAVEL REQUIRED
--- Travel will be required to customers' homes or other store locations using a company vehicle.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
--- Forklift certification
--- 1-2 years of experience in a related field/work experience.

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
--- Unrestricted drivers license

WORK AUTHORIZATIONS
--- Eligible to work in the United States
