Job Description:
**Description****Summary:** Responsible for overall management
of project for safe, successful and timely completion in accordance
with project plans and specifications\.**Travel:** May have to
travel occasionally for several days at a time to project sites and
client facilities\.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
include the following: Other duties may be assigned\.+ Ensures that
Company and/or job specific safety policies are being adhered to
and enforced throughout project duration\. Demonstrates leadership
in company's commitment and dedication to Zero Injuries Safety
Process\.+ Embraces quality by identifying problems or concerns as
well as opportunities for improvement within the Company's
procedures, policies and programs\.+ Completes accountability for
project performance and financial impact from beginning to final
collection of all billed amounts\. Assures that billings are kept
current and final payments are received, alerts management as
issues arise\.+ Assists in or prepares complete estimate for
selected project with detailed review of proposal specifications,
drawings, take\-off information, subcontracts, and the like\.
Effectively communicates to project team any changes/additions to
estimate\.+ Manages, evaluates and reports specifications to plan
procedures; start and completion times; procurement of tools,
equipment and materials; costs and projections; work schedules; and
staffing requirements for each phase of construction\.+ Assembles
and directs members of project team \(supervisory, clerical,
engineering, cost control, and other workers\) at start of
project\. Effectively communicates scope of work, budgets,
schedule, and any other details\.+ Directs supervisory personnel
and labor representatives to resolve complaints and grievances\.+
Inspects work\-in\-progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to
specifications and adherence to construction schedules\. Partners
with quality department in meeting plan specifications where
appropriate\.+ Provides technical assistance, i\.e\.,
interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods such
as equipment, parts, tools, etc\. Initiates and maintains
additional work in estimating and issuance of change orders\.+
Conducts construction activities within federal, state, and local
environmental rules and regulations\.+ Prepares monthly status
reports of all current projects including project contract amounts,
final projected costs, accurate of committed cost, payment status
of past billings, project issues, and the financial impact of
projects\.+ Participates in month\-end meetings with management to
review details of all open jobs\. Must be prepared to discuss
issues and solutions as appropriate\.+ Works cooperatively with
other project managers to ensure optimal utilization of company
resources, including personnel, equipment and tools\.+ Responsible
for communicating scope of work and issuance of subcontract
documentation\. Maintains status of all subcontractors and
adherence to schedule\. Where appropriate, schedules regular site
meetings and sees that minutes are taken and distributed\.+ Under
the direction of the corporate office, interface with concerned
public or regulatory officials\.**Supervisory Responsibilities:**
Will oversee the project and assist in the supervision of on\-site
employees to ensure project expectations are being met and
regulations are followed according to Company objectives, policies
and applicable laws\.Responsible for the overall direction,
coordination, and evaluation of jobsite employees and
supervision\.**Education and/or Experience:** Bachelor's degree
\(in one of the following fields: Electrical Engineering,
Construction Management or Project Management\) and/or has
completed an electrical construction apprenticeship program\. 5
years of field experience in a leadership role performing heavy
industrial electrical construction projects or the equivalent
combination of education and experience\.**Computer Skills:** To
perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge
of MS Excel, and Word\.**Other Skills and Abilities:**+ Advanced
knowledge of discipline, construction technology, design,
applicable codes, standards, etc\., required\.+ Ability to
interpret the interconnection of different processes \(mechanical,
electrical, civil etc\) and to plan job accordingly to avoid
conflicts\.+ Strong problem\-solving skills\.+ High level of
