**Description:**The company does not hire new employees for specific positions, rather, we hire people we believe will be able to fill one or more of the most common positions in the plant. These positions typically consist of:a. Coater Helper: This is an entry level position for a person who is working on a paper coating machine. Like many of our positions, this position is a physical labor position and needs a person who can lift, walk, climb stairs, operate Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIV), and perform other types of functions as listed in the job advertisement. There are other coater positions that have progressive levels of responsibility, but most people will start as a helper and work their way up on the machine. There are usually 4 to 5 people working on a coater.PIV = Forklift (Stand up & Sit Down) & Overhead Craneb. Winder Helper: A winding machine converts the paper to the appropriate length and width. Employees who work on winders may also help package the product to move in the next step to the customer.
