Shift Overview:

* Shift times and overtime hours vary dependent on position, department, and location
* 1st shift: Monday - Friday, five 8 hour days, overtime worked before the start of the shift and on Saturday's

SUMMARY

The positions within a Welder/Assembler are responsible for interpreting blueprints, job cards, bill of materials, and routing sheets. Deal with problems involving several variables from situations which vary by customized order. Work within precise limits. Bench, MIG, and/or TIG welding experience (aluminum and steel).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Set up and assemble various components for welding. Set up machine for welding Weld aluminum components (bench, MIG, TIG) approx. 10% of time. Weld steel components (bench, MIG, TIG) approx. 10% of time. Mount pieces to welded components. Grind welds. Perform finish plumbing to include; fitting up of pump panel, mechanical linkages, and 4-way package. Prepare pipe for plumbing installation including: cutting and threading. Repair any identified leaks. Weld, thread, and install heavy weld pipe

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

* High School Diploma or GED
* Technical degree or certificate in Industrial Welding or previous welding experience
* Ability read blueprints required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Ability to build or construct product preferred.
* Previous pumphouse fabrication and assembly experience preferred.
* Previous plumbing experience preferred
* Previous pumphouse department experience
