Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare or a related discipline required, and a Master's degree in Business Administration or related discipline is preferred
  • Minimum of (6) years' experience in a PMO leadership role at the Director / Sr. Director level within Health Plan, PBM, or Delivery System environment
  • Experience in a high-growth environment is required
  • Prior experience standing up an enterprise project management office / discipline a plus
  • Professional with proven track record of delivering on-time, on-budget and achieving results
  • Executive presence, strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills

Job Summary:

Reporting to the SVP & Chief Customer Officer, the Senior Director, Enterprise PMO (EPMO) will be a crucial leader in our corporate strategy and significant change management initiatives. They will oversee the portfolio of the company's strategic projects, including enabling the successful execution of partnership programs, driving cross-functional projects, and scaling activities in Sales, Tech Ops, Clinical Ops, Client & Member Services, and Government Programs, identifying and solving gaps in the process. This leader will ensure a smooth flow of information across the organization that provides executive management a "dashboard" to drive the company. In addition, the Senior Director, EPMO, will take the lead to identify, define, and implement scalable corporate processes that underpin the success of Navitus' growth objectives.

This leader will be responsible for evolving the Navitus EPMO capabilities into a Best of Breed operation by building foundational project management and business optimization into our scaling organization. The EPMO function will be responsible for developing an approach for operational excellence and continuous improvement, including EPMO methodologies, processes, tools, and governance required to operate and execute programs and projects successfully. This role will also be responsible for all EPMO-related functions, including actively working with management at all levels to facilitate effective cross-organizational planning, execution, and communications. This leader will be required to build relationships across the organization to ensure company-wide engagement and focus on operational excellence.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as "thought partner" to the Chief Customer Officer.
  • Establishes organizational processes and discipline around the management of large cross-functional initiatives, with a focus on ensuring they are clearly defined, scheduled, budgeted, resourced, and implemented in alignment with the organization's needs and key priorities.
  • Selects, engages, develops, and manages a team of project management professionals who support the needs of assigned projects.
  • Designs collaborative approaches that gains input and approval from stakeholders regarding various project goals, approaches, staffing, budget, and timing. Participates in delivery assurance reviews to ensure adherence to project management policies and procedures.
  • Secures the staffing of projects. Organizes project team members to ensure communication and understanding of deadlines, assignments and objectives. Participates in work as applicable.
  • Manages client, company and project team expectations for agreed upon project performance by obtaining and providing project metrics. Recommends changes or alternate paths based upon performance and metrics.
  • Establishes communications and change management strategies that are sensitive, timely, transparent, and effective with key stakeholders around each change initiative.
  • Provides oversight to assigned personnel for projects, assigning tasks and providing direction on timeliness and completion of project objectives. Addresses performance issues within prescribed guidelines. Provides performance input upon completion of project.
  • Maintain positive communications and rapport throughout the organization.
  • Other related duties as assigned/required.
