AriensCo is looking for a Technical Illustrator to work onsite
at their Brillion, WI headquarters.
The Day to Day...
Creates, designs, and develops AriensCo Technical Publications
printed and electronic collateral
Consults with client or supervisor/manager to evaluate
individual project needs.
Organizes material and completes writing assignments according
to set standards regarding order, clarity, concision, style and
Oversees technical information concerning feasibility of
designs, material properties, limitations and conformance
Reviews published materials and recommends revisions or changes
in scope, format and content.
Acts as an integral component within AriensCo Technical
Studies prints, sketches, drawings, parts lists, specifications,
mock-ups and product samples to provide the best instructions when
generating technical publications collateral.
Interviews production and engineering personnel and reads
journals, reports and other materials to become familiar with
Develop technical illustrations and instructions for use in
technical publications and assembly. Produces CAD renderings,
selects photographs, drawings, sketches, diagrams, and charts to
Operates digital camera and edits images according to set
Completes graphics design according to set standards regarding
clarity, concision, style and durability
Organizes, manages and completes the conversion of concept
artwork into reproducible and traceable part numbers
Maintains consistency of collateral while recommending changes
to improve results.
- Reviews work of others and approves output or directs
Degree related to Technical Illustration, Desktop Publishing, or
Bachelor's degree desired
3-7 years applicable technical documentation experience
Knowledge of software programs to include - Adobe Creative
Suite, Acrobat, EPDM, AS400, word processing software. FrameMaker
or InDesign a plus.
Experience with CAD 3D modeling software and creating exploded
views. SolidWorks experience a plus.
Knowledge of general database software/programs.
Comfortable with bills of materials, technical drawings and
Mechanical aptitude. Manufacturing or machinery experience a

Provide assistance as needed to Ariens engineering, purchasing
and marketing teams.
