Candidate must have: stabile work history, good integrity. The
learning curve long so need dedicated employees that are willing to
stay with a company. The ideal candidate can weld carbon steel /
Stainless Steel in the 6g position. We are willing to train the
right individual however.
Displays knowledge of Electrical Theory and usage of NEC and NFPA
79 in the assembly of machines with AC and DC circuits. Reads
engineering drawings to assemble, rebuild, and repair electrical
and mechanical components of machinery for CMD products. Sets up
and operates a variety of power tools (such as drill press, band
saw and stud welder), to assist in the assembly of machines and
components. Works unsupervised and provides training and
cross-training to other employees. Coordinates with engineering
personnel, and makes changes as required to update print
Associate's Degree in electro-mechanical technology or a
Maintenance Certificate and/or equivalent experience or training.
Must be computer literate and capable of reading engineering
drawings. Must have tools required to perform daily routines. Must
be capable to set up and operate power tools. Possesses basic
knowledge of oscilloscope. Position requires a team player who is
quality conscious, industrious and detail oriented.
- Applies electronic theory and mechanical ability to layout,
build, test, troubleshoot, repair and modify equipment.
- Assembles components, subassemblies, and systems according to
engineering drawings. Positions and aligns parts in specified
relationship to each other. Mounts assembled components and
attaches functional and cosmetic hardware such as caps, clamps, and
- Connects components and routes wires between individual
components, using connectors, terminals, soldering and other wiring
procedures. Verifies conformance of parts to stock list and
engineering drawings using measuring instruments such as calipers,
gauges and micrometers. Verifies alignment and tolerances of moving
parts using measuring instruments such as dial indicators and
- Diagnoses malfunctioning electrical and mechanical components
using test equipment, computer, and engineering drawings. Test runs
machines to ensure proper operation of components such as
photo-eyes, limit switches and solenoid valves. Ensures proper
operation and alignment of mechanical components such as belts, air
cylinders, indexing units and drums. Tests for proper sequencing of
machine operations. Assists R&D technicians and engineering in
developing new equipment.
- Sets up and operates a variety of hand tools such as drill
press, saws, shear and break. Operates tow motor, pallet jack,
hoist, pipe bender, pipe threader, and overhead crane to aid in the
safe handling of raw materials and fabricated parts.
