Andy Frain Services is seeking a dedicated Retail Security Officer to join our dynamic team, providing top-tier security solutions in line with our commitment to client satisfaction. This role is crucial for maintaining the safety and security of the environments within the retail spaces we serve, particularly focusing on theft prevention, crowd management, and ensuring a secure shopping experience for all patrons. Positioned at the forefront of customer interaction, the Retail Security Officer will act as both a protector and a representative of our client's values in the retail sector. Monitor surveillance equipment and perform regular patrols of the retail area to detect and respond to potential security threats. Manage access control points to prevent unauthorized entry and ensure secure environment for customers and staff. Report any suspicious activities or security breaches to the appropriate authorities promptly. Assist in the development and implementation of security protocols and procedures. Provide customer service by directing shoppers, answering questions, and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times. Assist in emergency management and crowd control, especially during peak shopping hours or special events. Participate in security briefings and ongoing professional training to stay updated with the latest security practices. Strong surveillance and observational skills Ability to operate security technologies and equipment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Capability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and efficiently Good physical condition and ability to stand for extended periods State-required security officer license or certification CPR and First Aid certifications preferred
