Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Labor and Delivery - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 11/17/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, flexible - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring a WI or compact RN license and advanced NRP certification. Responsibilities - Work in a hospital OB unit with 11 Labor & Delivery beds and 8 Post Partum beds - Handles an average of 112 deliveries per month with a highly variable daily census - 12-hour shifts with a variable day/night schedule - Works every third weekend and every other holiday rotation - No floating or on-call responsibilities required - EPIC is the primary EMR used, with experience preferred - Scrub colors are flexible and any color may be worn - Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility to be eligible - Unit averages 1350 deliveries annually - Travelers may be placed on call during 36 eligible unbillable hours of low census and receive call back pay if called in - Holiday coverage is required as part of the regular rotation Requirements - Active WI or compact RN license required - Current AHA BLS and Advanced NRP certifications required - Minimum 2 years of OB experience with Labor & Delivery competency - Prior experience working in Labor & Delivery required - EPIC EMR experience preferred Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-625701.
