Physical Therapy Assistant Location: Milwaukee, WI Agency: Jackson Therapy Partners Pay: $1,612 to $1,812 per week Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Make a real difference as a travel PTA. You will work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Apply and a recruiter will follow up with details. Minimum Qualifications Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program. Active Wisconsin Physical Therapy Assistant license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required. Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred. Experience with geriatric patient populations, transfers, gait training, and ADL retraining preferred. Ability to follow plan of care established by a licensed Physical Therapist and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members.
