Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Electrophysiology Technician - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview - Shift: Days, 5x8hrs - Hours: 40 hrs/wk - Start Date: Mar 30, 2026 - Length: 13 weeks - Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist for a cardiac cath lab position at a Level III Trauma Center in Oshkosh, WI, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience in cath lab procedures including diagnostics, interventional, and EP. Details - Work in a 2-room cath lab department consisting of 1 combined EP/Cath room and 1 dedicated Cath Lab - Level III Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center - Cath Lab procedures include diagnostics, interventional, femoral and radial approach, IFR, FFR, and balloon pumps - EP procedures include pacemakers, AICDs, loop recorders, diagnostic EP, and right-sided ablations - Average of 4 cases per day - This is a 24/7, 365 STEMI program - EMR: Epic - Hemodynamic system: Maclab (travelers will not monitor cases) - Equipment includes GE C-arms, Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis medication dispensing, and Manifold contrast system - 8-hour day shifts with flexibility for 4x8, 4x9, or 4x10 schedules - Approximately 50% call per month, including multiple nights per week and full weekends (end of shift Friday through Monday morning) - Weekday call hours run 5:00 PM to 6:30 AM - Weekend call rotation required; weekend call covers entire weekends when assigned - Holiday call coverage is required - Floating is limited to between rooms within the department and the pre-op area Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience required for both RN and Tech candidates - RN: Current BLS and ACLS required - RT/CVT: Current BLS and ARRT or RCIS required; ACLS preferred - RN candidates must have experience with cath lab procedures and critical care (ED or ICU) experience - RT/CVT candidates must have cath lab experience with the procedures listed above - Experience with balloon pumps and temporary pacers required - Epic EMR experience required - Active state license required if applicable - Minimum 1 professional reference from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN dated within the past year - Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration Additional Information - First-time travelers are welcome to apply - Department support includes a receptionist/HUC, respiratory therapy, and hospitalist staff - Candidates must work well within interdisciplinary teams, demonstrate strong communication skills, and be willing to teach and educate others - Scrubs are provided; lead aprons are available but candidates are encouraged to bring their own - RTO requests must be approved by the manager - Free parking is available on-site American Traveler Job ID P-682353.
