Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. An opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to support students in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12 in a school setting located in Wausau, WI. This position offers the chance to work on either a part-time or full-time basis, providing services that enhance students functional abilities and support their academic success. Responsibilities include: - Conducting assessments to identify student needs and develop individualized therapy plans - Delivering occupational therapy interventions to students across specified grade levels - Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress - Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school requirements - Participating in student evaluation meetings and contributing to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Qualifications: - Valid Occupational Therapy license required - Experience in pediatric occupational therapy, particularly in schools, preferred - Strong knowledge of therapy techniques relevant to K-12 student populations - Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs - Excellent communication and teamwork skills This contract position offers a competitive compensation package with weekly pay.
