Job Description:

SSM Health, a leading not-for-profit Catholic health system, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Clinical Coordinator in Ambulatory Services. This vital role is centered around enhancing patient outcomes, optimizing efficiency, and fostering a collaborative team environment across our outpatient services. The Clinical Coordinator will be instrumental in developing and implementing nursing policies, coordinating patient care, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. This position requires a dynamic leader who can mentor and influence staff, while embodying the values of our faith-based organization in providing compassionate care. Oversee the daily operations of ambulatory services ensuring seamless patient care and service delivery. Develop, implement, and evaluate standards of care and nursing policies and procedures. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to facilitate integrated, high-quality care. Monitor compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards. Conduct staff evaluations and provide guidance and development opportunities. Manage patient care planning and ensure implementation of treatment plans. Lead quality improvement initiatives and implement best practices in clinical performance. Excellent leadership and organizational skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proficiency in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic healthcare environment Advanced knowledge of nursing practices and protocols Efficient in resource management and healthcare regulations Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required Preferred: Certification in Ambulatory Care Nursing (RN-BC)
