Job Description:
Join SSM Health as a PRN Registered Nurse in our
Neurology/Neurosurgery/Surgical department, and contribute to a

the community. This position offers the chance to engage with
complex patient cases, supporting both patient recovery and
clinical trials. Provide direct nursing care in accordance with
established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare
organization. Perform comprehensive patient assessments to
determine appropriate nursing care for neurology, neurosurgery, and
surgical patients. Administer medications and treatments with
accuracy. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to formulate
individualized care plans. Educate patients and their families on
post-treatment home care needs, conditions, and procedures.
Document patient care in a precise and timely manner complying with
strict legal and accreditation requirements. Proficiency in
neurology and surgical nursing practices. Excellent patient
assessment skills. Strong ability to operate medical equipment.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current
Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice. Basic Life
Support (BLS) Certification. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
(ACLS) Certification preferred but not required.
