ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM • Guaranteed 48 hours per week with overtime after 48 hours worked • Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required • Float to all inpatient units as needed • Can be low censused and put on call with 2-hour minimum call back • Must be outside a 50-mile radius of facility location • 2 years of nursing experience required; Trauma level II experience highly preferred • Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License and BLS • EPIC charting experience required • Work on Medical and Pediatrics (MAP) unit treating adults only (no pediatric patients) • Typical patient ratios: 1:6-7 on nights • Treat conditions including respiratory illnesses, stroke, neurological conditions, gastrointestinal illness, diabetic management, renal failure, sepsis, wound care, and infectious diseases • Any color scrubs permitted • Associate degree or certificate required; Bachelor's degree preferred • Must demonstrate hard work ethic, resilience, ability to manage change, work independently, and maintain positive attitude with flexibility Facility: This healthcare organization operates as a comprehensive medical center providing specialized trauma and emergency services.
