Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Madison, WI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,349 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Critical Care Float Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Must have experience with multiple ICU units (Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic, Burn ICU, Trauma Surgery, etc). ICU experience with adult populations is required. Traveler must have experience in an Academic level 1 Trauma center. Successfully completed a travel assignment (13 weeks). Traveler must have completed two years of acute care experience within the last three years. License: Traveler must have a valid nursing license or a compact license from their permanent address state. Certifications: BLS and ACLS must be certified through the American Heart Association only. Traveler must have Basic Arrhythmia experience. Must-Have: Experience with telemetry. Ability to pass a telemetry test prior to starting. Description: Join a Magnet-certified hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center. This role offers the opportunity to grow in an academic learning environment. Enjoy the autonomy and flexibility of working in various critical care settings, such as Trauma Life Center, Burn ICU, Neuro ICU, and Cardiac ICU. Support and engage in governance within the organization. Travelers will float to different units based on current staffing needs. Shifts may be scheduled in multiple units and/or different locations within the organization. If the primary department no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another department to complete the contract. The position requires flexibility regarding weekend and holiday rotations. Pass/Fail testing will be required with strict passing criteria. A telemetry exam must be passed prior to starting. Trainers will evaluate telemetry competencies regularly throughout the contract.
