Otolaryngology for a job in MADISON, Wisconsin. Job Description &

Schedule: /n 100% FTE, 3,12-hour shifts with 17 additional shifts
per year. Shifts are 5 AM- 5 PM or 6 AM- 6 PM. 1:6 weekend rotation
required. Hours may vary based on operational need. /n Be part of
something remarkable /n As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll
play an integral role in our inpatient and ambulatory care teams by
providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients. /n We are
seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to: /n /n -
Provide comprehensive care to adult otolaryngology patients in an
inpatient setting including collaboration with interdisciplinary
team consisting of attending physicians, resident physicians,
speech language pathologists, case management and nursing /n -
Perform or assist with the following procedures: Wound Care, Nasal
Cautery, Rigid Nasal Endoscopy, Flexible Diagnostic Laryngoscopy,
and Tracheostomy Changes. /n - Conduct comprehensive or episodic
health history and physical assessment of patients/families with
acute, chronic and/or potential health problems. /n - Help support
a smooth transition for patients after discharge through close
collaboration with our ambulatory APPs and RNs. /n - Assist in the
OR as needed /n /n Education: /n Minimum – /n /n - If Nurse
Practitioner: Master’s or Doctorate’s degree from accredited
Nursing Program. /n - If Physician Assistant: Bachelor’s or
Master’s degree from accredited PA Program. /n /n Licenses and
Certifications: /n Minimum - /n /n - If Nurse Practitioner: Active
RN and APNP license in State of Wisconsin AND active board
certification as a NP. These include the following: Adult;
Adult/Gerontology Acute Care; Adult/Gerontology Primary Care;
Gerontology and RN First Assist preferred. /n - If Physician
Assistant: Active PA license in State of Wisconsin AND active PA
board certification. /n /n All Nurse Practitioner and Physician
Assistant applicants must have: Active DEA license or ability to
apply for such license prior to or upon hire. CPR certification and
advanced life support certifications if relevant to practice area
