Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVICU - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/09/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2556.00 Opportunity: RN - CVICU Job Details: • 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM • 13-week contract with 36 guaranteed hours per week • Work every 2-3 weekends (Friday/Saturday/Sunday) and every other holiday • Float to all inpatient units as needed, primarily critical care and acute care cluster • Patient ratio: 2:1 for CRRT patients, 1:1 for Impella patients • Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS, and ACLS • CCRN certification preferred but not required • Minimum 2 years cardiac experience required with skills in Swan-Ganz catheters, IABP, and post-op cardiac care • EPIC charting experience preferred • Optional call shifts available with 1-hour response time requirement • Scrub colors: any color acceptable • Care for post-op cardiac patients, AMI, cardiogenic shock, and induced hypothermia patients • Perform frequent cardioversions and assist with line placements and removals • Must be able to work independently and manage tasks in a timely manner • Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred • Must reside outside 50-mile radius of facility Facility: This healthcare organization operates a 12-bed Cardiac Intensive Care Unit specializing in advanced cardiac care.
