Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/02/2026 - Duration: 7 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days, nights, flexible - Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2556.00 Opportunity: RN - ICU Neuro Job Details: • 7-week contract with 36 guaranteed hours per week • 12-hour day/night variable shifts • Every other weekend and every other holiday required • Float between Neuro Critical Care ICU and MSICU units with possible float to other critical care and inpatient units as needed • Can be low censused and put on call with 2-hour minimum call back • Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours • Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility • Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS • Minimum 2 years experience with 1 travel assignment preferred • Med/Surg ICU and/or Neuro ICU background with strong Neuro assessment skills required • EPIC charting experience required • Work in 8-bed Neuro unit caring for stroke, TBI, head injury, and neurosurgery patients • Experience with EVDs and ICP monitoring needed • Perform Neuro assessments and basic bedside ICU procedures including line placement and intubation • Handle bolt and drain bedside placements with Neurosurgery team • Must be able to manage independently and complete tasks timely • Any color scrubs acceptable • During flu season, unvaccinated travelers must wear masks at all times per facility policy • Associate Degree or Certificate required Facility: This healthcare organization operates a specialized 8-bed Neurological Critical Care unit that provides comprehensive care for patients with complex neurological conditions.
