Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 12/15/2025 - Duration: 8 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - Rehab /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12-hour variable shifts with every other weekend and holiday rotation /n• 36 guaranteed hours per week (except during orientation week and holidays when unit is closed) /n• 8-week contract assignment /n• Float to all inpatient units as needed /n• Patient ratio ranges from 1:4-1:6 during PM shifts and 1:8 during night shifts /n• Care for 12-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit /n• Primary cases include stroke, trauma, debility, amputation, and cardiac patients /n• Must have 1 year medical surgical rehab experience preferred or medical/surgical background /n• Inpatient hospital setting experience required (STAC) /n• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN license, AHA BLS /n• Epic charting experience preferred /n• Rehabilitation knowledge and skillset required /n• Any color scrubs permitted /n• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility /n• Associate degree or certificate required, Bachelor's degree preferred /n• Seeking hard-working, resilient candidates who manage change well and are social /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive medical center with a specialized 12-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit.
