Premier Medical Staffing Services is seeking a travel nurse RN
Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin. Job
Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN -
Start Date: 12/01/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week -
Shift: 12 hours, days, nights, rotating - Employment Type: Travel
HIGHLIGHTS: - Minimum Experience: 2 years Med Surg experience -
Must have recent hospital experience - Trauma level II experience
required - Prior travel experience REQUIRED - Epic REQUIRED - WI RN
License and BLS required - Shift Requirements: 12 hour Day/Night
variables. 7a-7p/7p-7a - Weekend/Holiday: every other weekend, and
holiday - Float Requirements: To all inpatient units; would be
given appropriate patient assignments - On Call/Call Back
Requirements: N/A - Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36 hours - Contract

Radius Rule: Contractors must be outside a 50 mile radius of
Aspirus Wausau - Unit Overview: Nurse to pt ratio: day/pm 1:4 or 5,
nights 1:5-7 MORE INFORMATION: - Start Date: 12/1/25 - Primary
Location: Aspirus Wausau Hospital - Equipment used: Epic EMR,
Rovers for medication scanning, Alaris pumps - Unit Specific
Skillset: Post Surgical Care Unit post recovery after Pacu - 40 bed
inpatient area that provides care along a continuum for pre and
post-surgical adults and geriatric patients - Fast paced
post-surgical unit that averages 10-15 admissions per day with the
highest occurring on Day/PM - Occupancy of unit is 90-95% during
the week with average length of stay 2-3 days (except joints) - RN
must have ability to multi task and prioritize patient care needs
based on acuity and work as a team - HOLIDAY ROTATION REQUIREMENTS:
every other - SHIFT NOTES: 12 hour day/night variables - BEDS: 40
