Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intermediate Care Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of two years of acute care experience within the last three years in the specialty. License: Must have an active nursing license. Certifications: BLS & ACLS must be certified through the American Heart Association. Must-Have: Telemetry experience is required. Basic Arrhythmia experience is necessary. Description: This position requires day/evening, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Availability for Monday through Friday, with every other weekend and some holidays is required. Experience in Telemetry, Oncology, Cardiac and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown is preferred. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, providing care to acutely ill surgical and trauma patients. You will join a team of remarkable nurses, where critical thinking and teamwork are essential. Collaboration is key, and nurses are integral members of the multidisciplinary team. You will advocate for quality patient care. Floating to multiple units may be required depending on staffing needs. Travelers are expected to float and may have shifts scheduled in different units or locations. Candidates must pass a telemetry test prior to starting, with specific passing criteria in place. Orientation will include approximately 20 hours of training, with a detailed schedule provided to candidates upon hire. Competency in telemetry must be maintained, with provisions for testing and renewals.
