Day.Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital in Stevens Point, WI is seeking a CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT to join our ILLINOIS AVE CLINICS team!The Certified Medical Assistant assists in the delivery of health care to patients including maintenance of clinical record/documentation. Performs a wide variety of patient care activities and accommodative services for medical staff. The position requires the ability to make decisions consistent with clinic policies and the strict observance of confidentiality of patient information.HOURS: Full-Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 Hours Biweekly, Day Only: Monday-FridayExperience/QualificationsKnowledge of patient care standards and practices normally acquired through graduation from an accredited MA program or three years equivalence in medical background and experience.One year of healthcare experience preferred.Current Medical Assistant Certification or Registration required or must be obtained within six (6) months of hire.Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire All clinical personnel in identified job codes are required to maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) training through independent study, manikin and knowledge testing.
