  • Shift Requirements: 12 hours NOCS 1900-0730
    • Job Requirements
    • Minimum Experience: 2 years IMC/PCU/Tele experience required and MUST HAVE 1 YEAR STRONG CARDIAC EXPERIENCE (Cardiac SDU/Intermediate Cardiac/Cardiac ICU) Candidates cannot move forward in the interview process without experience with Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Nitro Drips
    • Required: at least ONE travel assignment must be completed
    • 1 year recent EPIC charting experience required
    • Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates: Able to manage independently and complete tasks timely
      • Schedule Information
      • Shift Requirements: 12 hours NOCS 1900-0730
      • Float Requirements: Float to all inpatient units as needed
      • On Call/Call Back Requirements: Able to take call if wanted
      • Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend. Every other holiday
        • Unit Specific Information
        • 44 Bed Intermediate cardiac stepdown
        • Fast paced, high patient turnover
        • Post op CABG/Valve, thoracotomy, Vascular, Arrhythmia, CHF, Post procedure cath, pacer, defib, ablations, Acute CP/MI, med/surg overflow i.e. detox, DKA, COPD exac, resp failure
        • Patient ratio typically 1:4
          • Additional Details
          • Radius Rule: Contractors must be outside a 50 mile radius of Aspirus Wausau
          • GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed
