We seek a full-time Clinical Director to join our outstanding team at our state-of-the-art center in Appleton, WI.Sherman Counseling is a proud Refresh Mental Health Network member, one of the US's largest and fastest-growing private behavioral health companies.CompensationThe salary range for this position is $125,000 to $140,000 per year. The role is also eligible to receive bonuses based on performance. Pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to education, work experience, licensure/certifications, scheduled clinical hours, etc.Benefits:Comprehensive benefits (Medical, Vision, and 401 K Plans) to full-time employeesPTO and Holiday payWe promote collaboration and communication among our team membersA professional atmosphere with spacious offices, staff lounges, and group roomsPossible work from home after proving the ability to do so.Job Duties and Responsibilities:Supervision of 6 clinical supervisors (Team Leads)Provide clinical leadership and oversight for all therapists and internsCarry part-time clinical caseload - 10 clients per weekMonitor IT and intern programProvide policy direction and maintain standards of practice throughout clinic locations (not including Red Oak Psychiatry)Oversight in licensing regulations, legal and ethical regulations, clinical supervision, and quality assurance.Quarterly auditing of charts for 40+ therapists (2 per therapist unless there are deficiencies. If deficiencies, then audit 5; if more deficiencies are found, then audit full caseload) for compliance and follow-up coaching/training/performance improvement plansReview/approve clinical documentation for assigned staff (TX plans, discharges, and chart reviews)Approve consultation documentation for all clinical supervisorsCoach Team Leads on developing therapists on their teamsEnsure all therapists are compliant with state statutes that govern practice as well as ROC policies and proceduresComplete the first interview for all therapist candidates and consult with/advise the HR Director on recommendationManage, investigate, document, and resolve client clinical complaints/patient rights issues as Grievance OfficerAssist therapists and interns with urgent clinical situations and provide supervisory crisis coverageAssign clinical consultation groups and supervision teamsDevelop agenda and facilitate bi-monthly Team Lead MeetingsAttend clinical consultationsAttend Executive Team Meetings and implement any clinical decisionsPreparation for state audits/review, implement and train on any necessary corrections determined by auditsReviewing clinical documentation for record requestsConsult with and implement guidance from the Executive Director on any urgent client-therapist or clinical issuesOther duties as assignedProvide trainings to clinical staff - documentation, mandated reporting, etc. Approve all client documentation for all Substance Use therapists.Complete annual performance reviews for team leads and all fully licensed therapists (30+), 40-45 if all current clinics are fully staffedContinually update clinical policies and procedures, responsible for knowing all state statutes regarding outpatient mental health and substance use practice.Partner with onsite EHR trainer to update and improve clinical documentation for compliance with best practices and state statutesSupervise and deliver new employee onboarding training with all clinicians.Develop clinical onboarding training.Partner with HR Director for all therapist disciplinary write-ups, disciplinary meetings, and compliance monitoring of PIPsRequirements:Master's Degree in Counseling or similarLicensed as a LCSW, LPC, LCPAbout Sherman Counseling:Sherman Counseling Center is a proud member of the Refresh Mental Health network, a nationwide network that includes leading private practices with unique and specialized programs.
