Service existing accounts by using your analytical skills through reviewing work orders, investigating complaints; conducting tests; resolving problems You need to establish what's wrong | what needs to be done by examining the problem then get parts, place orders, and schedule those repairs! Develop relationships with customers! You are their "problem- solver!" They call us/you to keep their businesses up and running! You must like paperwork- it's required for this job! Detail-orientation is a ust! Confidentiality is key in a role like this! What skills do you need? Must be willing to cross- train You might be called out at odd hours- so being able to plan ahead in important You may need to jump in at the drop of a hat, so being being flexible helps There is local travel involved- so being able to drive Must be able to solder and braze Education and Experience Needed: High School Diploma or equivalent Completed a degree/certification in the HVAC industry Being willing to learn more! Education and training in the Industrial HVAC field – Required 7 years or more as an HVAC Service Technician Strong skills in the following would be awesome! Blueprint experience Knowledge of HVAC equipment both heating & refrigeration, air distribution, & hydronic piping Controls both hardware & software applications Math skills Mechanical aptitude Communication and reasoning skills Electrical skills Controls skills Testing and balancing skills Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable to drive What’s in it for you? Environmental conditions may include areas where toxic or caustic chemicals or fumes are in use or being stored.
