life of a Teacher looks like:Create a fun, engaging learning
environment that works for everyone, using the right materials and
teaching methods to support students' learning and
well-being.Design and deliver lesson plans that get students
excited to learn and are tailored to meet the needs of each
student, especially those with personalized education plans,
special needs, or who need extra support.Be there for the youth,
their families, fellow staff, and other support teams. This
includes open communication, positive role modeling, showing youth
how to regulate emotions, build healthy relationships, and teaching
life skills.Follow the approved curriculum, making sure it's
inclusive and culturally sensitive.Protecting our youth by honoring
our privacy practicesWhat you bring to the table:Minimum of a
bachelor's degreeAt least 21 years oldA valid Wisconsin teaching
certificate.Experience working with students who are historically
disadvantaged or have emotional or behavioral challenges (EBD),
with 2-3 years of successful classroom management.Know your way
around a computer and MS Office.Possess patience with a positive,
confident approach, understanding & trauma-focused care, especially
when things get rough.Celebrate different cultures, backgrounds,
and abilities.Ability to be physically engaged and lift at least 30
lbs as we interact with young, active youth. In rare cases, you
might need to intervene physically to keep everyone safe.What we
bring to the table: (FT)Competitive pay range of $37,500 - $63,700
with compensation commensurate with education, experience, and
