The Post-Crescent/postcrescent.com in Appleton, Wisconsin, a part
of the USA TODAY NETWORK, is seeking an energetic journalist to
join our team as a breaking and trending news reporter in the Fox
Cities and across Wisconsin as needed.
We are looking a reporter who enjoys the challenge of producing
quick, accurate and concise work on tight deadlines. The beat also
includes opportunities to explore topics in a fun and light-hearted

Find, pitch and swiftly produce news stories on topics of emerging
interest, with a focus on what readers want and need to know.
Works with editors to evaluate what's working and what's not and
develops ongoing plans to better satisfy audience needs.
Collaborate with content team to provide all the appropriate
elements for stories (i.e. photos, videos and graphics).
Provides thoughtful analysis of complex issues.
Promote personal brand, the brands of colleagues and the

Identifies top news stories of the day, based on analytics and
